Cows and Fish and the Alberta Low Impact Development Partnership invite you to participate in a half day workshop and webinar to explore low impact development options like green roofs, water harvesting, riparian management and setback tools, pervious pavement, rain gardens and more. We all have a role to play in mitigating impacts of roads and development in our neighbourhoods and communities. Installing alternatives to turf, managing downspout flows and creating buffers along waterways are effective ways to do your part. Download the poster for more information. Click here to register online. Webinar details and links will be e-mailed to registered participants.
Wheatland County residents are invited to participate in three open house events to learn more about Environmental and Agricultural Conservation Programs in the County. Residents will be given the opportunity to provide feedback on priorities for future stewardship work in the County. Participants can enjoy a complimentary BBQ! Local non-profit environmental organizations, including Cows and Fish, will be on hand to answer questions. Download the poster for more information.
