Some refer to beavers as “ecological engineers” while others use less flattering names. This presentation will offer alternative management strategies for living with beavers and provide an overview of the ecological value of beavers in the watershed.
This webinar is hosted by the Pigeon Lake Watershed Association and includes a presentation by Riparian Specialist Kerri O’Shaughnessy from Cows and Fish, which will offer alternative management strategies for managing beavers and provide an overview of the ecological value of beavers in the watershed. It is designed for municipal staff and council members, realtors, property owners, community leaders, and camp directors but all are welcome to attend.
