Come join us (Cows and Fish), the Vermilion River Watershed Alliance (VRWA), and Lamont County as we take you through a virtual tour of common riparian plants and weeds of the Central Parkland of Alberta! You will learn the common names of plants, key characteristics that will help you identify them, and where you might expect to find them. We will also introduce you to riparian buffers and why they’re important. After the plant tour, we will give a quick update on the collaborative crop buffer project we have partnered on with Lamont County and the VRWA in the County.
