Date(s) - March 10, 2021 - March 31, 2021

In our 2021 Native Trout Workshop we are aiming to increase awareness of the issues surrounding native trout and watershed health, providing an opportunity to learn more about native trout, why they deserve our respect and admiration, the threats facing them, and ways to get involved in recovery efforts. Together our actions make a difference.
in 2021, the Native Trout Workshop will be held online so we are merging the pre-existing Native Trout Workshop/Westslope Cutthroat Trout Workshop for the south with the new Native Trout Workshop for the north.
The workshop will include 4 sessions split over 4 weeks beginning March 10th at 7pm.
- Session 1: Introducing the Native Trout species of Alberta and ways to identify them and provide insight into some of the threats facing theses species
- Session 2: Highlighting many of the community based restoration efforts occurring across the province
- Session 3: Featuring the recent research behind Native Trout recovery efforts
- Session 4: Exploring the current regulatory framework and some of the cumulative challenges on the landscape
