Learn more about riparian health, beavers, fish and more during our community walk. This event is being hosted by the Fish Creek Watershed Association (FCWA) in partnership with Trout Unlimited Canada and Cows and Fish. A BBQ lunch will be provided, you will be prompted to fill in any dietary restrictions when you register to attend.

• What swims in the creek? Learn more about fish in the watershed
• Busy as a beaver – how beavers can be an ally in tackling climate change. Find out about co-existence tools and strategies
• Riparian areas – the lush green zones along our streams, rivers, lakes and wetlands. Learn more about why these areas are important for watershed health and how to be a riparian steward

The Fish Creek Watershed Association (FCWA) is a watershed stewardship group that is comprised of local residents and landowners. The FCWA vision is that “Fish, Priddis and Whiskey creeks and their watershed shall have excellent quality and quantity of water to ensure human and agricultural needs, healthy riparian areas and fish habitat.”
