– By Lloyd Price
“What are you going to do about the beaver?” This question, although seemingly simple, encompasses the complex relationships between climate, water supply, creek management and livestock. Lloyd’s relationship to the land has helped form his opinion, “I don’t have to do anything, so long as I don’t overdo it”. It’s wondrously simple, but complex all the same.

Pay it forward, pass it on. Kelly and her family have been born into stewardship, maintaining healthy land to support healthy food. It’s this harmony that sustains her family, as well as their ranching operation at Timber Ridge.

-By Mike & Mark Walter
Because Mike and Mark Walter care about their creek they decided to take action on improving their land and cattle management. Mike and Mark, father and son, are a good team and by using decades of cattle sense, common sense and farmer-rancher know-how they have greatly improved the health of their watershed. Using poetry and narrative Mike and Mark tell their story.
