Photo Gallery

Welcome to the Cows and Fish Photo Gallery.  This tool has been provided to access a selection of Cows and Fish imagery for educational and extension purposes.  Within the Photo Gallery you will find a selection of images within the following categories:

• Riparian area aerials
• People and riparian areas
• Riparian functions
• Land uses and riparian areas
• Riparian areas from a variety of health categories

Each and every year, Cows and Fish receives many requests for use of our images.  This tool enables the user to browse a selection of images by category and download images suitable to their needs.  Photos in the gallery are 800 x 600 pixels, 300 DPI and approximately 250 KB in file size.  Higher resolutions of the photos may be available and can be requested by e-mail from inside the gallery.  All images have been taken by Cows and Fish staff, and are thus property of Cows and Fish.  We ask that you agree to the Terms of Use before downloading any images.

Terms of Use

By accessing or using the Cows and Fish Photo Gallery, owned by the Alberta Riparian Habitat Management Society (also known as Cows and Fish), the user of the Photo Gallery and any individual or entity on whose behalf a user accesses or uses the Photo Gallery, agree to be bound by the following Terms of Use.

The Cows and Fish Photo Gallery is for your personal and non-commercial use.  You agree to the sole use of the images within the Photo Gallery for education or extension-based purposes including presentations, publications and other educational activities.  You agree to not redistribute or modify the contents, including individual images, of the Photo Gallery, which is copyrighted by Cows and Fish. Each image is watermarked with "copyright Cows and Fish", this ensures that credit is provided to Cows and Fish when you use the image. Removal, cropping or alteration to the watermark displaying copyright is strictly prohibited and a direct violation of the copyright itself.  Permission to use images from the Photo Gallery is granted, provided that the embedded copyright notice appears in all copies of the images used.

You agree not to use the Photo Gallery imagery to advertise products or services or to solicit anyone to buy or sell products or services, or to make donations of any kind.  You will not use the Photo Gallery, nor it's content, for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms.
